in the past 24 months has invested significant capital
in computer and cutting technologies that makes it one
of the leading manufactures in Australia. We have a
commitment to locally manufactured garments and we can
also utilize overseas production with our own manufacturing
facility.
This type of equipment enables us to have precise cutting
of your garments and consistency of sizing. We openly
invite you to inspect our manufacturing facility as
we are only one of very few that has its own inhouse
cutting and production.
We believe in using the latest technology in textile and
garment manufacturing enabling us to keep abreast of all
developments. As a result of this we are able to offer
you uniforms constructed from fabrics which have been
submitted and tested by the Australian Ultraviolet Radiation
Institute. This means that garments can be rated with
a “Protective Rating ".
In the last two years Ys Clothing Company has enlarged
its range of products that cater specifically for Queensland
climate. As a result we believe that we are now able
to offer uniforms which take into consideration all
the requirements of the Education Department's policies
on Gender Equity, “Draft Policy and Guidelines
on School Dress Standards for Students ", "Sun
Safety Guidelines for Queensland Schools and Committees".
